Softened goat cheese instead of red sauce? Yes PLEASE! This melt in your mouth pizza is the perfect tapas style dinner or appetizer.
- Pillsbury Pizza Dough
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Italian Bread Dipping Seasoning
- 1/2 Large Onion
- 1/3 Jar Roasted Red Peppers
- Fresh Spinach
- Softened Goat Cheese
- 6 Cheese Italian
Preheat oven to 400
Spread pizza dough out on rectangle baking pan. Rub with Olive Oil and Italian Bread dipping seasoning. Bake for 8 mins.
While dough is baking. Saute onions with butter in medium skillet. As onions brown, dice red peppers and mushrooms. Add to skillet. Wash Spinach and add to skillet. Heat through until tender.
Take dough out of oven and spread softened goat cheese over pizza. Top with Spinach, onions, red peppers, and mushrooms. Finish with shredded 6 Cheese Italian. Bake for an additional 6-8 minutes.
This is one of my favorite quick dishes. I always keep all the ingredients in the fridge for unexpected company or game day snacks. I have my friend Megan to thank for this amazing pizza. She is a wonderful cook and always uses the freshest recipes in all her dishes.
