What a summer side dish! You will the love sweet, savory flavor of these onions. They can be eaten by themselves or as a topping for steak, burgers or fajitas.

Ingredients:

  • Vidalia Onions (as many as you want to eat)
  • Light Brown Sugar
  • Beef Bouillon Cube
  • Butter or Margarine

Utensils:

  • Foil
  • Grill

Directions:

Preheat Grill to Medium Heat

Peel Onion and cut top off

Scoop out a 1-inch in diameter hole in the onion – Do not break through the bottom

Drop Beef Bouillon into hold

Cut small slice of butter and top bouillon with it

Pack brown sugar into remaining space

Wrap entire Onion in foil

Grill for 45 – 60 minutes at medium heat. Turn heat down if foil starts to burn.
