This Italian favorite is so easy and cheesy (which of course is my thing!) and goes great with that left over spagetti sauce you don’t know what to do with.

Ingredients:

  • Bread Crumbs
  • Flour
  • Chicken Breasts
  • 2 Eggs Beaten
  • Spagetti Sauce
  • Butter
  • Olive Oil
  • Mozzerella Cheese Shredded

Directions:

Preheat 2 tbl spoons of butter and/or 2 tbl spoons olive oil in skillet at med/high heat
Butterfly chicken or pound it until it’s 1/2 – 3/4 inch in thickiness
Season chicken with garlic powder and Italian Seasonings
Dust chicken with flour
Dip chicken in egg
Coat chicken with breadcrumbs
Pan Fry Chicken in the butter/olive oil mixture until both sides are golden brown
Put chicken into glass baking dish and top with sauce and cheese
Bake Chicken at 350 for 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden brown and chicken is no longer pink on inside.
