Apple desserts are my husbands favorite. I’m more of a chocolate lover myself, but when it comes to apple dishes, this one is top on my list.

Ingredients:
Inside
4-6 apples skinned and thinly sliced
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup Bisquick mix
3/4 cup milk
2 tbl spoons butter
2 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
Topping:
1 cup Bisquick
1/2 cup oats
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons firm butter

Directions:
Combine dry topping ingredients and cut in butter. Make sure butter is not melted or too soft.

Grease 13×9 glass baking dish with butter. Spread apples in the dish. In medium bowl combine remaining filling ingredients. Pour over apples. Spinkle with topping.

Bake at 350 for 55 minutes or until top is golden brown and knife comes out clean. Let cool for 15-30 minutes… depending on how long you can wait to try it!

Serve with ice cream.
